For example, we have a biometric hand reader at the company that I work for that recognizes an employees punch in or out by their handprint. An advantage of these biometric security measures is that it's based on an individual's uniqueness like fingerprints which prevents impersonation. The disadvantages are high costs, users' being reluntant to using it, and complex installation.
