Online Tranaction Processing supports the daily business operations. It helps to manage transaction applications such as data entry. Online Analytical Processing uses multiple sources of information and provides multidimensional analysis, such as viewing data based on time, product, and location. OLAP analysis is used to facilitate business intelligence by sifting through massive amounts of statistics to find specific information. These tools usually have a drill down feature for multilayer information.
